The Pearson Test of English (PTE), is a new academic computer-based international English language test, provides measures for colleges and universities, other higher education institutions and professional and government bodies requiring academic-level English. It will accurately measure the reading, writing, listening and speaking ability of candidates who are non-native speakers of English and who want to study at institutions where English is the principal language of instruction. The Pearson Test of English is developed and offered to students in collaboration with Graduate Management Admission Council® (GMAC)® and it will be launched globally in 2009. |
